Why Should I Treat PE?

Many men with PE choose not to treat it, and instead live with it..

There are however good reasons to treat PE.

  • Once treated, you will be able to relax and enjoy love making for a lot longer.
  • If not treated, it will usually never go away by itself – it lasts a lifetime.
  • Your partner will usually enjoy sex a lot more and become interested.
  • Studies have shown that patients who have had PE for a long time are more likely to develop erection problems.
  • It is very easy to treat and you usually only have to treat it once (it doesn’t come back).

Diagnosing and Treating PE

Diagnosing and Treating PE

Once you make an appointment to see one of our doctors, you will usually only need one visit to one of our clinics.

The doctor will take a medical history, do a brief examination and a painless test called biothesiometry to assess your problem. See Your First Consult.

He will then recommend a treatment that you both agree is most suitable.

There are several treatments available and the most popular one we recommend is a medication that you spray under the tongue, 15-20 minutes before sex. This slows ejaculation right down.

The best thing about this treatment and the other treatments we recommend is that you only need to use them for several months.

That’s right, eventually you gain your own control and once you have control, you usually don’t need to use the medication again.

Success Story

Ron's Story (26 yo)

Looking back, I guess I suffered from PE all my life. It started from my first relationship with a lady who was a little older and more experienced.  It was all over in minutes.

I met my first steady girlfriend, Kathy and the same thing happened over and over again. Sure, there were times when I could go for a little longer, say if I had a bit to drink, but I never had control. She was very understanding, but I could tell she wanted something more.

We made love very infrequently and usually only on my initiation. I daresay this was the principal reason our relationship ended some nine months later.

I had a few brief relationships since then and I’m now with my current partner Jane. She is very special to me and we even discussed the problem.

We tried all sorts of things from numbing sprays to rubber rings and exercises.

We even saw a sex therapist, but I stopped this as it was expensive and even after many sessions I got no better. After seeing an advert in the paper I made an appointment with VortoLife Men’s Clinics on my own initiation.

I didn’t want to tell her because I feared further disappointment.

The doctor was very understanding. He explained that the cause of my problem was an oversensitivity in that area and a nervousness or tension I have during love making starting from my first experience.

I was relieved to know that PE of this kind is very common.

Ron's Treatment

“I was prescribed a medication that I sprayed under my tongue. After 10 minutes I was ready to go! The medication worked from day one and Jane was pleasantly surprised (she knows now because I told her). I used the medication for three to four months until I found I didn’t need it anymore.

I now have my own control and love making is more often and rewarding more than ever for both Jane and I! I wish I’d done this years ago!”
